Hey Bob,

Just thought I would let you know that everybody that has looked at the frame that you and your crew built for me has nothing but great things to say about it....they are all very impressed with the X-member for the transmission mount....also the ease of putting the engine in....You guys did a great job....and I know that because I know a lot of really nit-picky people....lol....

I was also wondering if I could get a copy of the photos you took the day I picked it up....something for the scrapbook....especially the shot from on the ladder looking down on the frame....

thanks again and have a safe holiday season.....

Bob,

Just another annual update. My Street Ryde/Pro-Slip 52 Chevy truck is heading into it’s fourth winter on the road. After three years and 30,000 miles, your suspension kits have held up perfectly: I’ve not had a lick of trouble. The tires look great and I’ve only had it aligned once, when I put it on the road. I haven’t had to touch the brakes (GM Big Brakes) either.

I’m glad I installed this suspension. It has made my truck a comfortable daily driver. All weather, all road conditions, any length trip I can tackle with no concern. I was talking with a guy who has a stock 50 and he said a hundred mile trip is a chore that really beats him up. No thanks – I’ll take my Street Ryde any day.

My website has moved to its own domain, www.chuckthetruck.com, for folks who are thinking about doing their own install.

Thanks again for the fantastic products!

Dear Sirs,

I’m writing this letter to let you know I’m finally finished with this Station Wagon project.

I bought a chassis from your company in 1999. I was directed to your company by one of the safety inspectors at the York, PA. Street Rod event.

I explained to him that I had a 1929 pick up with a (we won’t say the company’s name) chassis and any break downs I’ve had with it involved the suspension. The chassis was really not road worthy.

The safety inspector took me to his 1930 Model A sedan and showed me his Progressive Automotive chassis and told me about his being 3/16" steel. I thanked him for his good advise.

And I thank you for your good, safe product and skilled workmanship.

I took the completed station wagon to a front end alignment shop. The shop has been in business since the 1950’s and is a very well respected shop. I asked him to go over everything and set it to your specs. After working on it, he told me, "You can take this car anywhere"!

I knew I had spent my money well in trusting your company.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Fred

Mr. Shetrone,

First of all thank you for your time.  Second of all, I wanted to mention that I am now working with a friend who is a professionally builds hot-rods, and resto. work (for 26 years).  He was familiar with your company, however had not used any of your parts for many years.  He was greatly impressed by the parts that you have manufactured / sold.  He especially was impressed with how you had minimized the amount of use of stamped metal, the width of metal stock you used on the front end components. In addition to that  he was very impressed with your 9" ford rearend.  Needless to say, hearing this has affirmed, my satisfaction in your parts and materials.  When I go to build my next vehicle, you better believe that I will be using your parts again.

Regards,

Chris
